OAKLAND -– With a 121-106 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night at Oracle Arena, the Warriors printed their names on another page of the NBA record book.
Most consecutive regular-season wins at home: 44 (tie).
“That’s the motto that we set since I’ve been here . . . ‘Protect your homecourt,’ ” Shaun Livingston said. “We want homecourt advantage in the playoffs.”
The Warriors share the record with the Chicago Bulls, who won 44 in a row at home during the 1994-95 and 1995-96 seasons.

“One thing we pride ourselves on is protecting the home floor,” Draymond Green said. “To tie the record, that means a lot. That’s something we talk about at the beginning of every year, protecting our home floor.
“If you want to be great, you’ve got to protect that.”
The Warriors won their final 18 home games last season and are 26-0 this season. Their last loss at Oracle came on Jan. 27, 2015, a 113-111 loss to, yes, the Bulls in overtime.
“We have an amazing crowd here at Oracle,” coach Steve Kerr said. “And it’s a remarkable streak. There were probably a couple games in there that we should’ve lost, so it does take some luck. But it’s been very important for us the last couple years to establish the home court and really dominate it.”
The Warriors, who have sold out Oracle Arena for 160 games in a row, can take sole possession of the record Monday night with a win over the Orlando Magic.
