The Warriors assigned forward Kevon Looney to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced on Thursday.
Looney made his NBA debut last night in Golden State’s 127-107 win over Dallas, tallying two points and two rebounds in six minutes.
“It was surreal,” Looney said. “I’ve never played in front of crowd like that. To be in front of Oracle for the first time, playing on the court, it was amazing.
"I never even got to play with Steph (Curry) and all the guys at practice in the full scrimmage, so being on the court with those guys was a lot of fun.”
He has appeared in five games with Golden State’s D-League affiliate this season, averaging 8.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 18.2 minutes in Santa Cruz.
