- The Warriors fell for the fifth time this season and now own a 48-5 record on the campaign (.906).
- Portland snapped Golden State’s 11-game winning streak, which was tied for the fourth-longest win streak in Warriors history.
- Golden State fell to 24-5 (.828) on the road this season.
- Portland hit 53.6 percent from the field, a Warriors opponent season high and the fifth time Golden State's opponent hit 50 percent or better from the field this season
- Portland scored a season high 137 points, the most scored against the Warriors this season, including a Warriors opponent season-high 42 points in the opening frame and a Warriors opponent season-high-tying 36 points in the third quarter.
- The Trail Blazers’ win gives Portland a record above .500 (28-27) for the first time since moving to 4-3 on Nov. 8.
- Golden State suffered its largest loss of the season, falling by 32 points.
- Portland tied the season series with Golden State at 1-1, with two meetings at Oracle Arena remaining on March 11 and April 3.
- The Warriors are now 1-1 in their current stretch of seven-straight road games… Golden State will complete the back-to-back set tomorrow night against the Clippers, with a 5:30 p.m. tip in Los Angeles.
- Stephen Curry registered his 24th 30-point game of the season with a team-high 31 points… Curry, who hit 7-of-13 from three-point range, has connected on a three-pointer in 124 consecutive regular-season games overall, second-most in NBA history behind only Kyle Korver’s streak of 127-straight games from 2012-14… Curry has now hit 251 three-pointers this season, his fourth season with at least 250 threes, a feat that has been accomplished only three other times in NBA history.
- Draymond Green recorded his 20th double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds to go with eight assists.
- Kevon Looney made his third career NBA appearance, recording career highs of nine minutes and eight rebounds.
- Damian Lillard scored a career-high 51 points on 18-of-28 from the field and a franchise-record-tying nine threes on 12 attempts… His 51 points are the most scored against the Warriors this season and the first 50-point game against Golden State since Kevin Durant had 54 on Jan. 17, 2014… Lillard’s nine three-pointers tied for the most ever against the Warriors… Lillard’s 51 points are the most ever by a Trail Blazer against the Warriors, topping the previous mark of 42 points set by Geoff Petrie on Feb. 8, 1973… Lillard has scored 91 points in two games against the Warriors this season.
- Golden State's loss to Portland is the worst loss by a defending champ since the Miami Heat lost by 42 points to the Chicago Bulls in '06.
