Stephen Curry lit it up in the Warriors' 114-97 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, totaling 40 points on 12-for-19 shooting and 8-for-11 from 3-point range to go along with seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and two turnovers in 37 minutes.

In the process, he recorded his 51st career game with at least five assists and at least five made 3-pointers, passing Ray Allen for the all-time record.
Curry has now reached the 40-point plateau in eight career games (including one in the playoffs), all of which came on the road.
The six-year pro is averaging 23.9 points, 7.7 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 33.5 minutes per game this season.
