SAN JOSE – Sharks defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic was not feeling well, according to a team spokesman, and was a late scratch in a game with the Carolina Hurricanes at SAP Center on Saturday.
Vlasic took part in the Sharks’ morning skate on Saturday, and there were no indications anything was wrong.
Vlasic missed about 10 minutes on Wednesday in Calgary with what coach Todd McLellan later called an equipment problem. The 27-year-old played 24 minutes with one assist in Vancouver on Thursday.
In 52 games, Vlasic has six goals and 11 assists for 17 points and a team-high +15 rating.
Scott Hannan returned to the lineup in place of Vlasic, paired with Brent Burns.
