The San Jose Sharks are scheduled to appear on national broadcasts 13 times in the 2014-15 season, including four games against the Kings, the league and NBC Sports announced on Tuesday.
The Sharks’ season kicks off in Los Angeles on Oct. 8 against the defending Stanley Cup champions, in a rematch of the first round playoff series between the two rivals on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN).
The Sharks will also appear on NBCSN on Nov. 18 (at Buffalo), Dec. 2 (vs. Philadelphia), Dec. 27 (at L.A.), Jan. 6 (at Minnesota), Jan. 21 (vs. L.A.), Jan. 29 (vs. Anaheim), Feb. 11 (vs. Washington), Feb. 21 (vs. L.A.), March 9 (vs. Pittsburgh), March 29 (at Pittsburgh), and April 1 (vs. Colorado).
The regular season finale at Los Angeles on April 11 is set for NBC, although that is subject to change.
The league has still not announced its plans for an outdoor game, although it’s thought that the Sharks will host Los Angeles, most likely at Levi’s Stadium. It’s unclear when that will be finalized, but the Feb. 21 meeting between the teams on NBCSN would seem to be the most logical date for that event.
The local television schedule on CSN California has yet to be announced.
