As recent reports surfaced about the possible relocation of the Oakland Raiders to San Antonio, Texans owner Bob McNair on Wednesday said he wouldn’t oppose a team in San Antonio just because it would be in San Antonio.
McNair said he would want whatever is best for the league.

“I think I’d look at the facts,” McNair said. “I wouldn’t oppose it just because it’s in san Antonio. I’m in favor of doing what’s strengthens the league where it makes sense. We need to have strong franchises. We want it to be a competitive league for a long time. To do that, you’ve got to have strong franchises wherever they are.”
The obvious reason there might be some push back from McNair or Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would be because of fans they have in San Antonio already. Any fans lost could be potential dollars lost too. San Antonio is about 200 miles from Houston, or a three-hour drive.
