Raiders defensive back Dewey McDonald was promoted to the 53-man roster from the practice squad, the team announced on Tuesday.
McDonald has only been with the team a few weeks, but has NFL game experience with the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots, primarily as a special teams player.
McDonald’s promotion does not come with a corresponding move. Fullback Marcel Reece was moved to the reserve-suspended list on Monday after he was suspended four games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

McDonald adds depth on special teams and at safety, while the Raiders will likely be without Nate Allen for a fourth straight game.
The Raiders also signed defensive back Chris Hackett and offensive lineman Cole Manhart to the practice squad.
