ALAMEDA – Raiders running back Latavius Murray returned to practice on Wednesday, six days after suffering a concussion in a 24-20 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
His practice activity states that he has passed a few portions of the NFL’s concussion-related protocol. While he has been cleared to practice, it remains uncertain whether he has been cleared to play on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.
Raiders fans are hoping for a swift return to game action after he totaled 112 yards and two touchdowns on just four carries. He suffered a concussion against the Chiefs and did not return.
Interim head coach Tony Sparano will update Murray’s status after Wednesday’s practice.
