Former Oakland Raiders defensive end LaMarr Woodley has agreed to a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced Tuesday.
After just one season with the Raiders, Woodley was released by the organization in February. He was originally signed with Oakland in 2014 for a two-year, $12-million deal during the offseason after he was cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Woodley finished with five tackles in six games for Oakland before landing on injured reserve with a torn biceps.
The 30-year-old edge rusher was originally drafted by the Steelers in the 2007 NFL Draft. He spent seven years with Pittsburgh where he recorded 213 tackles and 57 sacks.
