The Raiders received good news on Sunday when X-rays on Derek Carr's thumb revealed no broken bones.
More good news came on Monday when an MRI showed no structural damage.
On Tuesday, head coach Jack Del Rio said, "I think he’s going to be in good shape this week.”
And on Wednesday afternoon, the Raiders' quarterback was in full pads at the start of practice, and his passes had zip.
During the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Bengals, Carr used his throwing hand to stiff-arm Adam Jones.
He left the game and did not return.
Barring a setback, it seems virtually certain that Carr will play on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Defensive end/linebacker Benson Mayowa (knee) and defensive tackle Justin Ellis (ankle) were not at practice. Safety Charles Woodson (dislocated right shoulder) was stretching with the team, but was not dressed in pads.
Check back for updates as Del Rio and Carr are both scheduled to speak to the media following practice.
