Dylan McCaffrey won't be following his brother Christian to Stanford.
The Class of 2017 quarterback from Valor Christian High School in Colorado announced on Twitter that he has committed to play for Michigan and former Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh.
After much consideration, I am Very proud to announce I have committed to the University of Michigan! #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/spHPcFrQb5

Rivals.com ranks the younger McCaffrey as the No. 6 dual-threat quarterback in his class and the No. 114 player in the entire class.
According to the website, 16 teams had shown interest in McCaffrey, but only 15 offered scholarships to him. The one team that had interest but didn't make an offer? Stanford.
Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports talked to one coach that tried to land Dylan McCaffrey and got this scouting report:
“He’s got his dad’s height and he can really run at 6-4, 6-5. You just don’t see a lot of kids who are that tall and can run like he can and throw too. He’s a legit 4.6 guy and he’s really improved a lot in the last year or so throwing the ball."
McCaffrey is the fourth four-star quarterback recruit that Harbaugh has landed since he got to Michigan. Last year, Alex Malzone and Zach Gentry enrolled at Ann Arbor, but Gentry was working at tight end in the final weeks of this past season, according to the Detroit Free Press. Among Harbaugh's incoming Class of 2016 is Brandon Peters, a pro-style quarterback from Avon, Indiana who ranked as the No. 6 QB in the class.
