Kings forward Rudy Gay is progressing through the league-mandated return to play concussion protocol, and barring any setbacks, could be back in action sometime this week.
Gay was able to participated in a basketball activity workout with Kings assistant coach Micah Nori prior to Sacramento's 101-95 loss to the Jazz on Sunday night.

The UConn product has now missed three consecutive games after sustaining a concussion in last Monday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
The Kings are now 2-7 without the 28-year-old this year, who is averaging 20.9 points per game on the season, which is tied for 12th in the NBA with Portland’s Damian Lillard.
The Kings (26-50), who have six game remaining this season, host the Timberwolves on Tuesday, visit Utah on Wednesday and are in Oklahoma City on Friday.
