The 2015 MLB trade deadline has not come yet, and until it does, the Giants are going to continue to explore options.
And that's what they're doing as of Thursday evening, as they're reportedly in 'active discussions' with the Reds for starting pitcher Mike Leake, according to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports.
The Giants were reportedly in contact with the Tigers for David Price, and the Phillies for Cole Hamels, both of whom have been shipped to their new teams.
Leake, a 27-year-old righty with a 3.56 ERA, is among the top options still available before the deadline.
Jon Heyman of CBS Sports and Joel Sherman of the New York Post have also reported the Giants' push for Leake.
