Pablo Sandoval will soon have a new destination to seriously consider.
The San Diego Padres are expected to make an offer to the Giants free agent third baseman on Friday, according to a Fox Sports report.
Sandoval is being actively pursued by San Francisco and the Boston Red Sox, and the Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly interested.

Giants vice president and assistant general manager Bobby Evans said on Thursday that he thinks Sandoval's decision will come by Thanksgiving, Nov. 27.
"I sense Pablo is really edging toward trying to wrap this up," he said.
Sandoval, 28, has a .294 career batting average and 106 home runs in seven MLB seasons with the Giants. He owns a .344 career batting average in the postseason.
