Aroldis Chapman is donning the pinstripes.
The New York Yankees on Monday acquired the flame-throwing closer from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for four prospects, the team announced. Right-handed pitchers Caleb Cotham and Rookie Davis and infielders Eric Jagielo and former Cal Bear Tony Renda were sent to Cincinnati in exchange.
After reportedly being dealt to the Dodgers in early December, the deal fell apart due to a domestic violence incident in October.
Chapman is currently under investigation by the league and could face a lengthy suspension.
