The seven-year veteran was released by the Cardinals on June 1. He played shortstop, third base, second base, and even pitched one inning for St. Louis this year.
Tejada is a career .254/.328/.322 hitter with 10 home runs between six seasons with the New York Mets and his time with the Cardinals this year.
