RIO DE JANEIRO -- Catalina Usme scored on a free kick at a tight angle in the 90th minute to pull Colombia into a 2-all draw with the United States on Tuesday night.
The top-ranked U.S. still finished atop Group F for good position in the women's soccer quarterfinals at the Rio Games.
Usme also scored in the 26th minute to give the Colombians an early 1-0 lead. It was the team's first-ever Olympic goal, and first-ever goal against the United States.
Teenager Mallory Pugh became the youngest player to score for the United States in an Olympics a 59th-minute goal that gave the Americans a 2-1 lead. Crystal Dunn also scored for the defending champions.
The top-ranked U.S. women's team, the reigning World Cup champion, is vying for its fourth straight Olympic gold medal.
