OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s reinstated infielder Tyler Ladendorf from the 60-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced Friday.
Ladendorf was on the A’s Opening Day roster and went 2-for-10 (.200) with two RBI in four games before he was optioned to Nashville April 12.
He hit .364 in six games with the Sounds before injuring his left ankle and undergoing surgery.
Ladendorf was recalled by the A’s May 22 and placed on the 60-day DL. He went 7-for-29 (.241) with two RBI, a walk and eight strikeouts on an eight-game rehab assignment with the A’s affiliate in the Arizona Rookie League, Single-A Stockton and Nashville.
