The 49ers have made no effort to re-sign cornerback Perrish Cox, a source close to the free agent told CSNBayArea.com Friday night.
Cox made visits this week to meet with coaches and officials with Washington, Cleveland and Tennessee. He has yet to reach an agreement on contract terms, but he is not likely to return to the 49ers, the source said.
