In January, Sarah Harbaugh went public with her call to a radio station to proclaim she deserved no blame for her husband’s fleece-tucked-into-pleated-khakis appearance.
The 49ers coach responded:
“They made quite a bit of sport of me. Problem solved there. The Levi’s and the Nike and the Dickie makes a flat khaki. So, happy wife, happy life. As far as tucking in the shirt though, if I’m the last person that tucks in their shirt, that’d be great. I’d be an innovator.”
Now, Sarah Harbaugh’s crusade has gone to an entirely new level with this video and Dockers’ #StopDadPants movement.
In lieu of a contract extension last year, the 49ers allowed Harbaugh to enter into endorsement deals with team sponsors. As previously reported, a source told CSNBayArea.com that Harbaugh, who enters the fourth year of a five-year, $25 million contract with the 49ers, earned approximately $1 million last year under that arrangement.
