UPDATE (3:29pm PT): The Rams on Saturday announced the extension for wide receiver Tavon Austin.
The Rams on Saturday reportedly reached a long-term extension with dynamic receiver Tavon Austin.
Austin agreed to a four-year, $42 million deal, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal reportedly includes $30 million in guaranteed money. The life of the deal is six years total.
Austin, the No. 8 overall pick in 2013 out of West Virginia, has 1,942 total yards from scrimmage and 16 career touchdowns.

Last season he had a career-high nine total touchdowns, with five receiving touchdowns and four coming on the ground.
Austin also stars as the team's kick and punt return man. He has returned a punt for a touchdown in each of his three seasons in the NFL.
