Mike Iupati is expected to attract a lot of attention during free agency, and some teams are already expressing strong interest in the three-time Pro Bowl guard.
One of those teams surfacing is the San Diego Chargers.
The Chargers are "expected to make a run" at Iupati, as well as Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb, according to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune.
Washington was also reportedly showing "strong interest" in the 49ers left guard.
Iupati, 27, was drafted by San Francisco with the 17th overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. He started as a rookie, playing all 16 games for the first three years of his pro career.
In five seasons with the 49ers, Iupati started in 75 games. However, he has missed a total of five starts and had to leave games at times.
Iupati is coming off three consecutive Pro Bowls and was a first-team All-Pro in 2012.
Irons in fire: Chargers expected to make run at 49ers G Mike Iupati, source says. Watch for Packers WR Randall Cobb, too.
