The 49ers’ search for veteran cornerback help has reportedly led them to San Diego Chargers free agent Shareece Wright.
Wright, 27, is scheduled to visit with the 49ers on Friday, reports the NFL Network.
Cornerback Chris Culliver, who started 14 games for the 49ers last season, signed with Washington on Friday. Perrish Cox, the 49ers’ leader with five interceptions, is visiting the Tennessee Titans after meeting with Washington and Cleveland earlier in the week.

Wright started all 27 games in which he appeared for the Chargers the past two seasons. An NFL source believes the 49ers are willing to work out a deal to bring Wright to the team.
On targets in which Wright was in coverage last season, opposing quarterbacks compiled a 95.5 passer rating, according to Pro Football Focus. Wright surrendered three touchdowns with no interceptions and six passes broken up.
