TEVIN COLEMAN
Indiana, Running Back
Height: 5' 11 3/8"
Weight: 206 pounds
Age: 21
Hands: 8 5/8"
Arms: 32"
Wing Span: 75 3/8"
Ben Press Reps: 22
40-time: N/A (right turf toe)
Positives: Shows great burst in open field and takes good angles, which makes him a tough takedown. All-around runner that can charge between the tackles or break runs outside. Gets up to full speed quickly. Displays great vision and confidence exploding through the hole. Good balance and leg drive. Uses blockers well and plays to the run scheme. Lengthy frame makes him effective at stiff-arming potential tacklers. In head-on situations, he is a tall, reliable back in pass protection, squaring up the blitzer and getting his hands under the chest protector.
Negatives: Took majority of his carries out of Indiana’s shotgun formation. Can struggle to lock up a blitzer when forced to move laterally and engage a moving target. Bulked up his stat line against so-so opponents such as Rutgers, Indiana State and Bowling Green.
NFL comparison: DeMarco Murray (Cowboys RB)
