SANTA CLARA -– Cornerback Tramaine Brock remained the only 49ers player on the injury report Friday as he was again limited in practice due to a hamstring condition.
Brock is expected to be ready and start Monday night in the 49ers’ season opener against the Minnesota Vikings at Levi’s Stadium.

The 49ers have fewer players listed on their first-week injury report than any other team in the NFL. Linebacker NaVorro Bowman said a lot of credit goes to coach Jim Tomsula’s approach during training camp.
“The benefit of having a coach who was here already, he knows most of the guys,” Bowman said. “When you get a new coach, he tries to come in and try to figure out what they have, so they run you into the ground to see who the tough ones are.
“He’s done a great job of managing the work we need and get off the field. He’s been taking care of us.”
