FOXBORO -- Newly-acquired Patriots corner Tarell Brown isn't looking to serve as a replacement for Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner or any of the other defensive backs that the team lost in the offseason.
As far as Brown's concerned, whatever happens in 2015 will have nothing to do with anything that happened during last year's Super Bowl run or the players that made up that championship group.
"New team, new attitude, new mindset," he said. "For me, for all the players, we're not looking at the past. The past is the past. Now this is the present. We're just looking to build off of what we did today and try to get better. Come out here and work and compete everyday and just try to earn a job."
