The Chicago Bears activated two wide receivers from the practice squad Saturday, calling up Josh Bellamy and Chris Williams to the 53-man roster.
The Bears released rookie quarterback David Fales, as well as two veterans in cornerback Kelvin Hayden and fullback Tony Fiammetta to open those spots.
Starting wideouts Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery have been limited in practice sessions leading up to the Week 2 game vs. the 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
Marshall (ankle) did not practice all week, while Jeffery (hamstring) was held out until Friday, when he was a limited participant.
Both wide receivers are officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
Former 49ers receiver Josh Morgan is also listed as doubtful with a groin injury. He did not practice on Thursday and Friday after being limited on Wednesday.
