SANTA CLARA -–Carlos Rogers was listed as questionable on the 49ers injury report, but the veteran cornerback left no doubt about whether he’ll play.
Rogers said he took every snap as slot corner in the nickel package during Friday’s practice, and will assume that role during Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Coming off a hamstring injury that kept him out of the postseason thus far, Rogers believes it’s a perfect way to ease back into game action.
“It’s tough after the injury I had to come in and play 65-70 snaps,” Rogers said. “I think that working 25, 30 or whatever it is in the nickel will help, but I’ll be ready even if I go play in the base defense. I’m prepared for it all.”
Even if he was ready to assume greater responsibility, Rogers was unlikely to unseat Tarell Brown and Tramaine Brock on the outside.
Perrish Cox filled in well during postseason victories against Green Bay and Carolina, but Rogers will assume his spot.

“I’ll be playing in the nickel,” Rogers said. “If I go down, Perrish will know what to do. But for the most part, it’s going to be me in there.”
The 49ers had perfect attendance for the second straight practice on Friday. Fullback Will Tukuafu was listed as questionable after a limited practice in which he wore a brace on his ailing knee. Rogers was also considered limited in practice.
Outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks was a full participant again Friday after missing Wednesday’s workout with illness.
