Tuesday night was a rough one for sports fans in Toronto, courtesy of Bay Area teams.
The streaking Sharks handled the Maple Leafs in Toronto 4-2 -- a result that is understandable. San Jose is atop the Pacific Division and currently stands in second place in the Western Conference. Toronto is now 14-11-3, and were losers of four straight coming into the game against San Jose.
Embattled Toronto mayor Rob Ford attended the game, and apparently it wasn't enough to inspire the Leafs to victory.
But when your basketball team holds a 27-point lead in the third quarter, you've got it made, right?
