The Golden State Warriors have amassed 14,000 season tickets sold for the 2013-2014 season. The Warriors are currently the third team in the league to surpass this mark after selling 3,250 new season tickets in the summer alone.
Last season the Warriors were treated to 38 consecutive sellout game, a feat not reached since the 1995-1996 season. Golden State ranked fifth in the NBA last season thanks to an eighth straight year of averaging over 18,000 fans per game.
NBA All-Rookie First Teamer Harrison Barnes elected to to surprise the individual who purchased the last two tickets that helped the club reach the 14,000 plateau. To show his appreciation, Barnes called the Warrior faithful and informed the fan that the 2012 first-round pick would be paying for the season tickets.
