Editor's note: The Warriors released the following statement regarding DISH Network potentially dropping Comcast SportsNet from its lineup on Wednesday:
There is an unprecedented level of excitement surrounding Warriors Basketball as the team is off to its best start in franchise history. Our incredible fans, who have packed Oracle Arena on a nightly basis and follow the team passionately via our loyal television partner, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, are eager to watch the next exciting performance by the Splash Brothers and our entire team, which was voted “the Most Fun Team to Watch in the NBA” by the league’s General Managers.
Unfortunately, our fans may soon be deprived of the opportunity to watch the Warriors on DISH Network, which, according to reports, may drop Comcast SportsNet Bay Area from their programming beginning December 1. This would include all Warriors games and other exclusive team content.
If you are a DISH subscriber, call 1-844-I-WANT-CSN (1-844-492-6827) toll free and urge DISH to keep Comcast SportsNet Bay Area. For more information, go to www.IWANTCSNBA.com.
