OAKLAND – David Lee says he's not a doctor, but the Warriors power forward also indicates he could return to action during the next week.
It won't take long to find out if he's prophetic.
Lee has not played since March 22, and with five games over seven days remaining in the regular season it's possible, maybe even probable, he might not return until the playoffs.

He did, however, return to the practice floor Wednesday, participating in drills light enough to barely test his strained right hamstring but strenuous enough to work up a good sweat.
"Reports that I'm done for the season, I think are very premature," Lee said afterward. "We're just going to see how I'm doing day to day. But the important thing is I'm feeling better each day and the only thing that would be of concern to me is if I was plateauing out or I was feeling worse and worse.
"I was able to run around a little bit and do some things with the team. We didn't go live or anything like that. So I was able to do a few things here and there."
Lee is not expected to play Thursday night when the Warriors face the Nuggets at Oracle Arena, but he is scheduled to be on the following two-game road trip.
The Warriors travel to Los Angeles on Friday to face the Lakers, and then on Saturday to Portland, where they meet the Trail Blazers on Sunday.
