OAKLAND – Power forward David Lee was examined at halftime of the Warriors-Jazz game Friday night and will remain sidelined indefinitely but will travel with the team on its upcoming road trip.
Lee is making "very good progress," according to a team spokesman and will undergo reevaluation on the trip that begins Saturday and runs through Nov. 30.
Lee sustained the original injury in the Oct. 24 preseason finale against the Nuggets. He sat out the first three games, returning Nov. 5 against the Clippers, only to aggravate the hamstring after only seven minutes.
Lee missed 13 games last season, with five of the absences attributed to a strained right hamstring.
