Steve Kerr will not be golfing any time soon.
The Warriors' head coach told CSNBayArea.com's Monte Poole that he will undergo back surgery on Tuesday in Los Angeles to address a herniated disk.
Kerr has been dealing with the issue for a few months.
Two weeks ago, Kerr was in Tahoe for the American Century Celebrity Golf Classic, but was unable to participate.
"I was supposed to play in the tournament but my back is acting up so I'm just enjoying the lake and the scenery," Kerr told CSN Bay Area's Jim Kozimor. "Can't play this year unfortunately."
Kerr told Poole that he'll "be out for the summer."
The Warriors open training camp in late September.
