Salvator Bimbo, the 21-year old Warriors fan who fell from the upper deck after Game 7 of the NBA Finals, spoke from his hospital bed on Sunday.
KRON's J.R. Stone was in the intensive care unit at Highland Hospital in Oakland, where Bimbo and his father had the following exchange:
Father: Sal, do you remember what happened at Game 7 with the Warriors?
Bimbo: Yes.
Father: There is rumors out there that you jumped over the ledge. Is that true?
Bimbo: I did not jump. I was pushed by a Cavaliers fan.
Father: He was pushed by a Cavaliers fan.
Bimbo: Yes, sir.
Father: How are you feeling today?
Bimbo: Horrible. I'm still in the hospital.
Father: What do you feel about the man that pushed you?
Bimbo: He's insane and I hope that the police find him.
Bimbo has already undergone surgery on his elbow, and more surgeries are planned.
He is reportedly in stable condition.
