Warriors star Stephen Curry has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Pacers in Indianapolis after tweaking his right ankle in Friday’s win over the Spurs at Oracle Arena.
Shaun Livingston will start in place of Curry against Indiana, the Warriors announced.
Curry, in the midst of an MVP-caliber season, hurt his ankle in the third quarter of a 110-99 win over San Antonio when his right foot landed awkwardly on the left foot of Spurs forward Boris Diaw. He limped immediately afterward but did not leave the game.
The Warriors did not issue a timetable for Curry’s return. Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday against the Wizards in Washington.
