Point guard Stephen Curry on Monday was named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Nov. 3-9, making it a two-week sweep of Warriors to win the award.
One week after his backcourt partner, Klay Thompson, won the award, Curry nabbed the honor for averaging 30 points, 7.3 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 3.3 steals in three games during which the Warriors went 2-1.

Though Curry has twice been named Player of the Month, this if the first time he has earned the weekly honor. He shot 56.1 percent from the field, including 51.9 percent form 3-point range, and shot 100 percent (12 of 12) from the foul line.
Curry and Thompson become the first Warriors teammates to ever win the honor in successive weeks, though guard Baron Davis himself won in back-to-back weeks in April 2005.

Nov. 5 vs. L.A. Clippers: Scored 28 points and added seven assists and six rebounds in a 121-104 win over the Clippers.
Nov. 8 at Houston: Tallied 34 points on 13-of-19 shooting and added 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals in a 98-87 win over the Rockets.
Nov. 9 at Phoenix: Collected 28 points, 10 assists and five steals in a 107-95 loss to the Suns.
