Warriors center Festus Ezeli received a one-game suspension, without pay, for his part in an altercation with Raptors forward Tyler Hansbrough on Friday night in Toronto, NBA president of basketball operations Rod Thorn announced Saturday.
Ezeli will serve his suspension on Sunday, when the Warriors face the Celtics at TD Garden in Boston.
The announcement could impact the plans of Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who originally anticipated resting starting center Andrew Bogut in Boston. With Ezeli, the only true backup center available, it's conceivable Bogut will start.
Seconds after getting tangled up battling for rebounding position, Ezeli grabbed Hansbrough in the throat in the final second of the third quarter. Hansbrough squared off, but game officials interceded before blows could be exchanged.

Hansbrough was immediately ejected, with Ezeli being ejected after game officials reviewed video replay.
The punishment will cost Ezeli roughly $13,572.
