Stephen Curry will compete in the NBA's 3-point contest during All-Star weekend in New York. It will be his fourth career attempt at the 3-point crown, having fallen in 2009-10, 2012-13 and 2013-14.
In preparation for the shootout this Saturday, Kenny Mayne teamed up with Foot Locker and Under Armour to present "The Redemption," a video feature in which Curry trains for the shootout by taking on four "random" opponents. The "random" opponents include NBA veterans Robert Horry, Tim Legler and Stephen's father Dell Curry, as well as 10-year-old baller Jaden Newman.
Curry defeated Horry, 21-6. He defeated Legler, 21-7. He defeated Dell, 24-18. But he lost to Newman, 16-15.
"I think it's helping me," Curry said of "The Redemption."
