The Spurs finished off the Lakers on April 28, but all the extra time off may not help them as they prepare to start their second-round series with the Warriors on Monday night.
Tim Duncan is dealing with a "stomach bug" and was sent home from practice on Saturday morning by coach Gregg Popovich.
"Hopefully it's one of those 24-hour viruses or whatever," Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said Saturday. "It is a little concerning. We definitely need him. And having Tiago (Splitter) hurt, it makes it even more important."
As for the Spurs starting center, Splitter hasn't fully recovered from a sprained left ankle suffered during Game 3 against the Lakers and he is doubtful for Monday's series opener.
During the regular season, Splitter averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in 81 games.
Rookie Aron Baynes started in place of Splitter, making his first start of the entire season.
