Now that Kevin Durant no longer plays for the Thunder, what will happen with Russell Westbrook?
Does he want out of Oklahoma City? Will the Thunder trade him either before the season or at the trade deadline?
Westbrook is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next summer and it's unclear if he wants to remain in Oklahoma City long-term.
Below is an except from a story posted by The Oklahoman's Anthony Slater on Sunday night:
"Westbrook has given the Thunder no indication that he currently wants out.
To the contrary, one source described him as ticked off about the Kevin Durant departure, determined for this new challenge and eager for the season to start: 'He's ready.'"
Westbrook was drafted by the Thunder with the fourth overall pick in 2008.
For the first time in his NBA career, he is no longer teammates with Kevin Durant.
At his introductory press conference with the Warriors on July 7, Durant shed some light on where things stand between him and Westbrook.

"I talked to him. Obviously, it's tough," Durant explained. "We were teammates for so long and had a lot of great memories. I'm sure he wasn't happy about the decision but he respected it as my friend. Our relationship was great, we had great years man -- something that you can never take away from us ... I couldn't consider everybody's feelings at this point...
"I just tried to focus on me but also realize that the relationships that I had, I still wanted those to be -- I'm sure they won't be the same..."
When Durant appeared in just 27 games during the 2014-15 season, Westbrook led the league in scoring at 28.1 points a night. He also averaged 8.6 assists and 7.3 rebounds per contest, and finished fourth in the MVP voting,
But he shot under 43 percent from the field and 29.9 percent from deep, and the Thunder missed the playoffs.
