It appears as if Warriors guard Jarrett Jack will test the free agency market this offseason.

The Warriors initiated extension talks with the veteran guard in January, but Jack cut them off to focus on this season and allow him to test free agency, according to a Contra Costa Times report.

Jack, 29, earned $5.58 million in the final year of his contract this season, but will likely receive significant interest from teams in need of a ball handler. The report indicated Utah, Charlotte, Toronto and Milwaukee as the most likely suitors.

Jack provided the Warriors key poise and a leader in the locker room. He averaging 12.9 points and 5.6 assists in 29.7 minutes off the bench. It remains to be seen if the Warriors will be able to compete for the eight-year NBA veteran in the open market.
