Justin Holiday joined the Hawks looking for a bigger role than the one he had on the Warriors.
Now, the former Golden State shooting guard is packing his bags for Chicago looking for the same thing with the Bulls.
While Atlanta held on to all of its main pieces at the NBA trade deadline, the Eastern Conference contender did swing a deal for Kirk Hinrich, shipping out Holiday in a three-team trade.
In addition to Holiday, the Bulls will receive a future second-round pick (from Utah via Denver). Guard Shelvin Mack lands with the Utah Jazz.
Holiday played in 26 games for the Hawks this season, averaging 2.4 points per game. Last season with the Warriors, the Washington product averaged 4.3 points per game and made four starts in 59 games.
