Draymond Green is set to become a restricted free agent Wednesday at 12:01 A.M. EST and the Warriors don't plan to waste any time making their pitch to keep him in Oakland.
The third-year forward is scheduled to meet with members of the Warriors front office in Los Angeles to discuss a contract the moment free agency begins at 9:01 P.M. PST Tuesday night, according to Yahoo Sports' Marc J. Spears.

Earlier on Monday, Spears reported that Green plans to listen to pitches from the Pistons, Hawks and Rockets.
"They said they wanted to keep me, but we will see what happens," Green told Yahoo Sports. "I don't know. I am not getting no pressure. There are no reports [of management] flying around right now [to see me]. There is really no need to feel pressure. Ain't nothing going on right now other than LeBron James and Kevin Love opted out."
Green, who made $915,243 this season, is due for a major raise and could fetch a max contract.

"At some point I will believe it. But it's like, 'Wow.' Who would have imagined this?" Green said. "You have these big goals. You hope this and hope that. You want to believe it, but it seems so far-fetched. To be in this moment, this position, it's like, 'Wow.' "
Green averaged 11.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game during the regular season and 13.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per game in the playoffs.
