OAKLAND – Power forward David Lee, who left the Warriors-Clippers game Wednesday after aggravating his strained left hamstring, will not be with the team on its road trip this weekend, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Thursday.
Lee is scheduled to undergo an MRI test Thursday afternoon to determine the extent of the injury originally sustained in the Oct. 24 preseason finale.
Lee, 31, missed the first three games of the regular season before returning to action Wednesday.
He played only seven minutes, scoring six points, before he went into the locker room for good.
Draymond Green, who has been starting in place of Lee, likely will continue to do so. But starting small forward Harrison Barnes also could see increased playing time at power forward, Kerr said.
The Warriors leave on Friday for Houston, where on Saturday they face the Rockets before heading to Phoenix to play the Suns on Sunday.
