Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will not play against the Warriors on Saturday night, the team announced.
The official reason for his absence is listed as "recovery."
Forward Lance Thomas will get the start in place of Anthony.
In 39 games this season, Anthony is averaging 24.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
Tip-off between the Warriors and Knicks in Madison Square Garden is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PST, with Pregame Live beginning at 4 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.
