OAKLAND – After spraining his right hand/wrist Saturday night in Houston, Klay Thompson on Sunday sat out an NBA game for the first time due to injury.
He surely hopes it's also the last time.
Thompson participated in the team's morning shootaround and is listed as questionable for Tuesday night's game against the Spurs at Oracle Arena.
He took part in everything and he's just testing out his hand," coach Steve Kerr said. "I would say he's questionable. But we'll see how he responds after shootaround and go from there."
Thompson will test the tender area before the game, after which a decision will be made as to whether he'll rejoin the starting lineup or play at all.
