The Warriors are the only team in NBA Finals history to fail to win the title after leading the series 3-1.
How long did it take for Steve Kerr to get over it?

The good news for Kerr is that two weeks after dropping Game 7 to Cleveland, Kevin Durant announced that he was going to sign with the Warriors.
The news definitely took a little bit of the sting away from the June 19th loss at home to the Cavs.
"For sure. It's exciting and we got a chance to be a special team," Kerr said. "But we also know nothing is guaranteed. We just won 73 games and lost in the Finals. So we got a lot of work ahead of us.
"We lost a good chunk of our team -- two of our starters with Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut -- and a lot of our bench -- key guys like Speights and Barbosa, Brandon Rush.

"We've had such great chemistry for two years and now we have to kind of reshuffle the deck. We've got great talent but we've gotta figure out how to make it work."
In Kerr's first season, the Warriors went 67-15 and captured the franchise's first title since 1975.
Last year, they were one win away from back-to-back championships. And now, the team has four All-Stars.
"Coaching is all about your players," Kerr said. "You have to have talent. And I've been so lucky in two years with the Warriors to have the talent that we already have. To add KD is pretty incredible. I'm a lucky coach, that's for sure."
