UPDATE (5:45pm) -- Andre Iguodala will start in place of Harrison Barnes in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, the Warriors announced.
Iguodala will be making his first start of the 2016 playoffs. He started just one game during the regular season.
“He’s our smartest defender,” Kerr said Sunday, referring to Iguodala. “It’s rare to see him be in the wrong place.
“But when you’re playing Durant, there’s not a whole lot of free-lancing; you’ve got to stay attached to him.”
Barnes started the Warriors' first 16 playoff games, and 59 of the 66 regular season games he appeared in.

OAKLAND – Less than two hours before tipoff of Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday, Warriors coach Steve Kerr continued to conceal his plan for the starting lineup.
He knows what he’s going to do, but he wasn’t telling.
“I have made 11 alterations to the game plan, none of which I will share with you,” Kerr said in his pregame news conference.
“Thanks for your question.”
The question was asked after Kerr indicated Sunday that a change was possible in the wake of Andre Iguodala’s effectiveness in the second half of a stirring comeback victory in Game 6 Saturday at Oklahoma City.
Iguodala, the first man off the bench season, was inserted into the starting lineup for the second half, replacing Harrison Barnes, who has been mostly ineffective.
Kerr’s plan likely won’t be revealed until the last 20-30 minutes before tipoff at Oracle Arena.
“He’s our smartest defender,” Kerr said Sunday, referring to Iguodala. “It’s rare to see him be in the wrong place.
